Me again! Dun Dun Duhhhh...

So, the main reason I am typing right now is because I felt I was neglecting my blog. Well that and I'm supposed to be asleep right now, so of course that's the only thing I can't do. Oh well. My class is writing children's books right now, which basically means that I have to think of about 6 or 7 more stanzas of rhymes that have to do with 3 dragons, a unicorn, an evil wizard, and knight in shining armor. It's not what it sounds like. Don't even give your computer that look. It's NOT. What it is, is amazing! I'm having a lot of fun writing it, which is the most important part. Well actually, seeing as this is a school assignment that I will be getting graded on I guess that's probably not the part that matters, but I am anyway so there...
I shall bore thou no longer oh reader of mine blog. I hasten forth to mine bed to sucumb to sweet slumber. For I hath a mere eight hours to revive mine deprived mind and body from the days of turmoil. Hence I bid you farewell for this night.
Weren't expecting that, were you?

Fine.

Ok, so I'm still supposed to be doing something else, and my mom's going to kick my butt, but... somebody (not naming names), can't take a joke so I'm rephrasing. I am not- as previously stated- saying hello to a frizzy red(orange)-head. I am saying hello to a perfectly normal red(orange)head. Happy? Anyway this is yet agian another pointless entry. I really need to find some new inspiration...

Hellooooooooo...

HI! I am currently very uninformed about how the playoffs are going. I've had a really busy, yet relaxing weekend. Yeah,... that made sense. Oh, before I forget, I would like to say hello to a frizzy redhead, whose hair is actually more orange... Anyway, hi! (Yes I'm talking to you Hailey :D). I don't know what's up with Crosby either. I really should be doing something else right now , but I felt the need to check in. So... I need to get back to my homework so ... ....
Later!

Here comes the sun...

Oh my gosh! It is so warm HOT outside! The weather keeps doing this thing where it'll be like 70° (F)  for like 1 day and then it'll go back to being like 45-50°! I wish it would just stay one or the other! Today though it wasn't just warm, it was HOT!It was in the high 80's to low 90's. I'm at a loss for words now... again. Yay. So in hockey news... Holtby (goalie for the Hershey Bears when he's not being goalie for the Caps), got to minors on Friday. Haven't heard that one before. I'm sad that the season's coming to a close. All my favorites are in the playoffs, but that just means that it's almost time for the end of hockey altogether for the year. The first games are on Wednesday the first is the Pens vs. The Lightning (I'm going with the lightning for that one) and the second is Vancouver vs. Chicago. I think I'll say Chicago's going to win. I usually root for the underdog and since it's the #1 team (Vancouver) against the #8 team (last place for the playoffs in that conference), Chicago is definitely the underdog. Vancouver's #1 in the league though, so almost anyone who plays them will be the underdog. I think I may go with the Caps, the Sharks or the Sabres for the champs (in this conference). The Pens may have a shot if they get Crosby back early in the playoffs. I need to find something else to blog about.

More Hockey

Ok, well if you follow hockey then you should know that the Capitals lost their last game to the Florida Panthers. I know that since they are number 1 in their conference that means they are garunteed a spot in the playoffs, but come on! The #1 team plays the #15 team (out of 15 teams), and the #1 team loses?! Although I have to admit, watching Ovie attempt to play D was pretty funny. I was really laughing in the last half minute or so too. Washington pulls their goalie and puts 6 forwards on the ice (which is why Ovechkin was on D) then the Panthers missed two shots on the open net from right in front of it! There wasn't even anybody covering them or pressuring them! They just flippin' missed! The Hurricanes will not be in the playoffs after loosing 6 to 2 to the Lightning (ouch). That means the Rangers will be.

By the way I forgot to mention, that as part of revisiting my childhood I now have the Veggie Tales Theme song and two of Larry's silly songs, stuck in my head (Where is my Hairbrush and His Cheeseburger). So corny, so good!
If you like to talk to tomatoes/ if a squash can make you smile/ if you like to waltz with potatoes/ up and down the produce aisle.
Have we got a show for you.
Broccoli, celery, gotta be/ VEGGIE TALES!
Lima beans, collard greens, peachy-keens, VEGGIE TALES!
Cauliflower, sweet and sour, half an hour, VEGGIE TALES!
It's time for VEGGIE TAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!
(Yes I left a few parts out).
Ok I really should be asleep right now. It is way later than it should be (for me).
Nighty-night!

Random Trips to My Childhood

So, as you can tell by the title, I've been sort of revisiting my childhood lately- something I very highly recommend. For me this consists of playing with Barbies while watching Rugrats. I was also watching Barbie movies, which are actually better than you might think- especially the older ones. I deeply apologize for my lack of constructive opinions and for my excess of babbling. This is something I'll have to get used to. So... anybody like hockey?

They were, until recently, saying that Crosby would be back in time for the playoffs but now it's seeming less than likely. They've said he may be out until the next season. Sucks for the Pens. I usually root for them or the Caps, or basically anyone who's not the Flyers (sorry, hatred of the Flyers was instilled in me since birth, and come on, they do take a lot of cheap shots). Oh, and speaking of the Caps, Green is supposedly doing a lot better and should be back for playoffs, if not their last couple of games. The Blackhawks are decent and pretty much any of the Canadian teams are too. I did root for the Avalanche when Scott (the Sheriff) Parker was on the team, but that was pretty much just because I picked him as my favorite Hershey Bears player when I was little. Which, when you think about it, is ironic since I used to hate the fights (if you know anything about Scott Parker you should know what I mean). My current Bears favorites are Andrew Gordon- who I liked way back in about October of either '09 or '08, because at my first game in like 5 months, he scored a hat trick. I also like Holtby (if you know who that is I think you'll understand why I like him). I like Fleury and Ryan Miller in the NHL, and I also like Crosby and Ovechkin (I think almost anyone who likes hockey has to like at least one of those two).
Oh my goodness! I finally found something to type meaningful words about! Yay for me!
I should sooo be asleep right now.
